Anchor & Co is a communications consultancy run by me, Julie.

I have a genuine love of writing and storytelling, spend my spare time convincing my children to please put your shoes on, and drink far too much tea (English Breakfast or nothing).

Anchor & Co is located in beautiful Avoca Beach on the NSW Central Coast, but our clients are all over. From Central Queensland, to the Mid North Coast of NSW, Sydney and further south, we have a broad reach.

I’ve spent 15+ years working in PR and communications in both Sydney and London. I have extensive hands-on experience crafting effective public relations strategies and optimising the way companies communicate. 

Throughout my career, I’ve worked in-house and also in the hustle and bustle of agency life — and like with my children, I refuse to choose my favourite.

I have led campaigns for companies spanning the healthcare, infrastructure and not-for-profit sectors, as well as for corporates, consumer brands and on major events. Some are household names — like City2Surf, Disney and the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network — and others are local small businesses where I’ve built their story and brand.

Since launching Anchor & Co in 2021, I have worked with such a varied group of clients where I genuinely feel part of their team, and I can’t wait to see what’s next.
